The Angie Diedericks Suicide Prevention Program was formed after Angie Diedericks, sadly, took her own life at only 16 years of age. A facebook page with contact details was established by Ingrid, a councillor in London, helping South African kids between ages 12 and 18 years of age and in crisis. Angie’s dad, Gert, started a program aiming at visiting schools in South Africa with experts to educate parents and learners about teenage suicide.
